Venue
The conference will be held at DPIA - Polo Scientifico Rizzi, Univeristy of Udine, via delle Scienze 206, 33100 Udine, Italy. The conference venue is located in the outskirts of Udine.
Bus lines in Udine are operated by SAF, information on the bus lines can be found here.
Train station and the conference venue (called UNIVERSITA’ RIZZI) are conveniently connected by bus lines 10 and 9. To reach the conference location from the train station you can either use:
- Linea 10 – Circolare Destra, from bus stop Ferrovia to bus stop Università Rizzi, just in front of the University Building
- Linea 9 – Circolare Sinistra, from bus stop Ferrovia to bus stop Pasolini/Università Rizzi, then walk for 2 minutes to the conference location
To reach the train station from the conference venue, you can either use:
- Linea 10B – Circolare Sinistra, from bus stop Università Rizzi to bus stop Ferrovia
- Walk to the bus stop on Via Pasolini, then take Linea 9B – Circolare Destra on stop Pasolini/Università Rizzi to bus stop Ferrovia

How to reach Udine
By plane
The closest airport is Trieste (http://www.aeroporto.fvg.it/en/home/index.htm, airport code TRS), 40 Km from Udine. Udine can be reached from the airport by taxi (45 mins, approximately 70€) or bus. The "Marco Polo" Venice airport (http://www.veniceairport.it/en/, airport code VCE) is located 120Km from Udine. To get to Udine from Venice airport, take the ATVO Flybus to the "Venezia Mestre" railway station (travel time: 20 minutes, timetable at the webpage http://www.atvo.it/en-venice-airport.html). Then from the Venezia Mestre railway station take the direct train to Udine (travel time: 1 hour 40 minutes, info at the webpage http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en).
The "Antonio Canova" airport (http://www.trevisoairport.it/en/, airport code TSF) is located in Treviso, 30 km north of Venice and 110Km far from Udine. To get to Udine from Treviso airport, take the city bus n. 6 to the "Treviso Centrale" railway station (travel time: 20 minutes). Then from the Treviso Centrale railway station take the direct train to Udine (travel time: 1 hour 15 minutes, info at the webpage http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en).
Other close airports are Klagenfurt (Austria) and Ljubljana (Slovenia), but from there there is no direct public service to Udine, so you would have to rent a car.
By car
Coming from West/East (Venice/Trieste), follow the A4 highway until Palmanova, then take the A23 highway towards Udine and exit at the UDINE SUD toll booth.
If coming from North (Tarvisio, Austria), follow the A2 highway (in Austria) which will become A23 right after the Italian border. Drive southwards until the UDINE NORD toll booth.

It is recommended to book your hotel room as soon as possible, due to the large number of tourists that are travelling to Udine in September.
